I'm a Los Angeles based artist + designer specializing in brand identity design, product design + development, packaging design, digital illustration, and website design. With a keen eye for color and balance, a forward-thinking sense of style, and a mind that's constantly thinking of ideas and inventions, I've known from a very young age that I wanted to create for a living. My fascination with ideation has led me to work for in-house design departments creating products, packaging and graphics for leading global retailers.
I pride myself in my unique mixture of business and analytical skills, design and fashion sense, and natural artistic talent. Needless to say, I thrive in all stages of the product development process, and my skills transcend all industries. When it comes to design, I don't have one specific style - I'm a versatile artist who can adapt my style to whatever is needed for the project at hand. I've designed products that went to market in the following categories: pet, cannabis, beauty + skincare, home + lifestyle, fashion, stationery, kids, and toys.
Prior to moving to Los Angeles, I lived in New York City for several years, which has had a tremendous impact on my ambition, character and design awareness. My NYC years were spent attending the Fashion Institute of Technology, working in the home + lifestyle industry, and conducting research, analyzing trends, and working at major trade shows across the US. During my time at FIT, I received a Bachelor's Degree in a truly special and intimate major called Home Product Development + Marketing, which was essentially an intense training program that focused on product development, design, sourcing, manufacturing, packaging, marketing and merchandising of consumer products.
In 2018 I quit my full time design job because I felt that specializing in one specific thing would hinder my growth as a creative designer, and I started my own company called Rose + Palm Studio. Now, I provide a variety of creative services for clients in a variety of industries. The following year I launched my own cat brand called Kitty Kardboard®.
Thanks for reading, I look forward to learning a bit about you!
